- Monitor and control IT project budgets from initial request through completion, ensuring financial adherence and transparency
- Develop and maintain KPIs and performance dashboards to evaluate departmental effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities
- Lead budget planning processes for the IT & Digital department in cooperation with the IT leadership team, global finance and controlling
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports including budget vs. actual analysis, forecasts, trending charts, and long-term financial outlooks
- Conduct in-depth performance data analysis to define metrics and KPIs that guide IT performance optimization
- Review and evaluate budget revision requests; recommend approval or denial and prepare related documentation
- Contribute in global cost allocation and reimbursement processes with entire IT organization
- Deliver monthly management reports including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash-flow analyses.
- Ensure alignment of all performance management processes with the Project Management Office (PMO) and the overarching company and IT strategy.
- Support global governance by standardizing financial controlling processes across regions
- Manage IT license portfolios globally and ensure cost-effective utilization.
- Analyze IT service costs and identify optimization potentials in cooperation with service owners and vendor management.
- Support make-or-buy assessments and cost simulations for major IT projects or services.

- Proven experience in project financial management, including budgeting, KPI development, and performance reporting, ideally in a project-oriented environment.
Strong analytical mindset paired with creative problem solving capabilities - Excellent presentation, reporting, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Capacity to thrive under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong proficiency in SAP CO and FI (financial processes, cost centers, reporting) and data analytics tools such as Databricks or SAP BW.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other Office 365 applications.
- Ability to learn and apply specialized financial and performance management tools.
- Strong command of English (written & spoken); additional languages are a plus.
