As a Digital Product Lifecycle Manager, you will play a key role in implementing BU Uhde’s digital strategy and shaping our future portfolio of digital solutions.
Drive Digital Innovation & Product Development
- Support the development of the digital plant of the future, including market assessments and product ideation.
- Focus on digital process models, operator training solutions, real-time optimization (RTO) offerings, and related digital technologies.
- Monitor scientific publications and patent landscapes to identify opportunities, secure innovation, and inform product decisions.
Lead Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
- Coordinate all PLM activities for digital products - from concept phase to market launch and ongoing enhancement.
- Ensure that post execution analyses and lessons learned are captured and fed into continuous product improvement.
- Align product decisions with BU Uhde’s strategic roadmap.
Support Technical Sales & Execution
- Prepare technical proposals in close collaboration with service bid managers.
- Act as the bridge between development teams, technical experts, and sales engineers.
- Deliver high quality documentation and support execution teams after project handover.
Elvárások
- Completed university degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong academic background in Real-Time Optimization (RTO) and Advanced Process Control (APC) required.
- Experience with process simulation models is an advantage.
- Additional qualifications in Data Analytics, Machine Learning, or AI are a plus.
- Initial professional experience in an industrial environment is desirable.
- Experience with agile project management methods is beneficial.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and coding skills (e.g., Python) are an advantage.
- Experience with data visualization tools is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and strong customer orientation.
- Ability to work effectively across diverse teams and disciplines.
- Fluent in English (written & spoken); German skills are an asset.
- Willingness to travel internationally (limited).
