Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and operate Azure compute, storage, backup, recovery, monitoring, and shared infrastructure services within subscriptions and network boundaries.
- Integrate infrastructure workloads with centrally managed network services and raise connectivity, DNS, firewall, routing, private-endpoint, or hybrid-connectivity requirements to the central cloud team.
- Configure and operate Microsoft Entra ID integration, managed identities, Azure role-based access control, privileged access, Key Vault integration, and least-privilege controls.
- Build and maintain reusable Terraform or Bicep modules, automated deployment pipelines, source-control practices, code reviews, and release controls using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, diagnostics, patching, capacity management, backup, disaster recovery, and availability practices aligned with approved service objectives.
- Troubleshoot compute, storage, operating-system, backup, monitoring, and infrastructure incidents; coordinate network-related diagnosis with the central cloud team; and track corrective and preventive actions through completion.
- Apply approved security baselines, Azure Policy, tagging, cost controls, and infrastructure standards across supported environments.
- Create and maintain infrastructure diagrams, build documentation, operational runbooks, support procedures, and service ownership records.
Collaboration and operational responsibilities:
- Participate in cloud architecture and design reviews, identify risks and dependencies, and implement approved technical patterns.
- Work with application, platform, data, security, the central cloud team, and service-management teams to deliver production-ready workloads.
- Support incident, problem, change, release, and operational acceptance processes for business-critical services.
- Provide compute, storage, resilience, monitoring, backup, recovery, and automation guidance to Cloud Platform Engineers and workload teams.
- Participate in production support, major incident support, and planned change activities in accordance with the applicable support model.
Elvárások
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4–6 years of hands-on experience engineering and operating cloud infrastructure, preferably in Azure enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated experience delivering production infrastructure through automation and infrastructure-as-code rather than manual configuration.
- Experience supporting business-critical workloads, handling incidents and changes, and working within IT service-management and change-control processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across global application, security, and operations teams and manage multiple priorities.
Skills required: -
- Strong hands-on knowledge of compute, storage and networking. Preferred Azure experience includes Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Machine Scale Sets, Storage Accounts, Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery, and platform services.
- Proficiency in cloud networking, including virtual networks, network security groups, user-defined routes, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, Load Balancer, Private Link, DNS, VPN, and ExpressRoute concepts.
