Vos responsabilités
Position Summary: This is a 1st shift position. Set up and operate wire bending machine. Participate and focus upon efforts to promote continuous improvement by performing 5S, safety audits and TPM activities.
- Measure wire segment diameter and angle with dial indicator gauge and make required adjustments according to drawings, technical data.
- Use abrasive cut-off saw, hydraulic wire cutters, hand grinder, bench grinder, wire end machine, disc grinder to finish wire ends to tolerance specified.
- Set up and operate wire hardener using appropriate tools, fixtures and equipment.
- Measures hardness of wire using various hardness testers.
- Visually inspect wires for cracks.
- Set up and operate wire polishing equipment.
- Use jib crane, fork truck and/or gantry crane to move fixtures.
- Keep work are in a clean, safe condition.
- Make minor repair or adjustments to equipment as required.
Team Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Education / Experience Requirements: High school diploma or GED and relevant training or on-the-job experience.
Export Control:
This position requires access to export-controlled technical data or technology. Employment is contingent upon thyssenkrupp's ability to obtain any required export authorization from the appropriate government agency or agencies.
