Vos responsabilités
- You are responsible for the execution and overall management of the automation scope in plant engineering projects of varying sizes, with full responsibility for the results.
- You are the responsible decision-maker for the above-mentioned scope, in coordination with the Project Manager.
- You act as the technical point of contact for automation matters for internal and external project partners as well as customers.
- You design, plan, and coordinate the external planning scope for plant engineering related to automation.
- You prepare RFQs, evaluate quotations and contribute to the supplier selection process.
- You coordinate the installation, assembly and commissioning phases on site for the automation scope.
- You are responsible for cost, schedule and project status reporting, as well as identifying and implementing corrective actions to achieve project targets and optimize project performance. This also includes sub-targets such as safety acceptance, technical milestones and final acceptance.
- You are responsible for change cost and claim management in cooperation with Procurement, Sales and Controlling/Cost Estimation, including commercial coordination with external project partners such as customers and suppliers.
Votre profil
- You have completed a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or a comparable field, or have an equivalent professional background.
- You have professional experience in plant engineering within the automotive supplier industry or the automotive industry.
- You have strong knowledge of electrical hardware design, PLC programming and commissioning, as well as solid experience in project management.
- You are proficient in using MS Office.
- You distinguish yourself through strong analytical skills combined with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to challenges and a willingness to take responsibility.
- You think and act with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- You have strong teamwork and communication skills and are confident when presenting.
- You have business-fluent English language skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to negotiate confidently. Knowledge of German would be an advantage.
- You enjoy national and international business travel and you are flexible.
