Vos responsabilités
We are looking for a Process Engineer with relevant design experience to be part of the Process Engineering Department.
The successful candidate will be required to fulfil the job as summarised below, but not limited to:
- Development of process flow diagrams, mass & energy balances, utility balances.
- Development of piping and instrument diagrams, mechanical flow diagrams, and utility flow diagrams
- Development of process equipment/ instrument data sheets, process philosophies, equipment/ line/ tie-in/ fluid/ utility consumption/ waste & emission lists.
- Development process philosophies
- Relief valve calculations and relief load summary and other safety related calculations (e.g. fire protection systems)
- Provide process inputs to material selection table and hazardous area classification.
- Execute hydraulic calculations and perform pump and control valve sizing using the AFT products
- Review vendor documentation and perform Technical Bid Evaluations
- Display knowledge of the appropriate design codes with respect to process applications
- Perform unit operation sizing
- Perform simple and complex calculations
- Understand the basic principles of plant layout
- Participate on PFD/ P&ID Reviews and Hazops and SIL Reviews.
Votre profil
The incumbent must be in possession of a BSc Chemical Engineering degree with 5 -7 years engineering experience in the Oil and Gas/ PetroChemical environment industries and experience in a project contracting environment performing process design.
