Vos responsabilités

Job Summary

The Plant Manager III will oversee policies, procedures, and processes designed to minimize cost and maximize production. This role has responsibility for Profit & Loss (P&L), has budget oversight, office management responsibilities and impacts strategic planning.

He/she will develop and implement plans coordinated with the Corporate Business Plan to increase the reliability and continually improve the quality and efficiencies of the products and services provided by the business unit.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

  • Prepares and maintains plant budgets
  • Ensures that organizational production expectations are met
  • Partners with HR, Finance and Safety personnel to accomplish operational activities
  • Supervise branch production using RMAS Warehouse Management System and available Production Planning tools
  • Develop plans and procedures to insure the safety of all employees and visitors of the warehouse and Clarify and correct any incorrect warehouse procedures
  • Ensure operations and equipment is in compliance to corporate guidelines and OSHA Standards with focus on the appropriate safety standards and regulations
  • Verify inventory and make adjustments where necessary
  • Hire, train and motivate warehouse employees to build bench strength and increase retention by scheduling and provide training for growth and compliance
  • Maintain equipment to provide maximum availability and minimum down time
  • Evaluate and recommend new equipment purchases to enhance quality, capabilities and productivity
  • Communicate and monitor progress towards company safety, returns and allowances, and on time shipment and delivery directives
  • Responsible for building maintenance and security
  • Monitor quality and process improvement throughout the warehouse using SAP reports
  • Ensure that preventive and corrective action methods are followed to eliminate or correct procedures and practices which do not meet customer requirements
  • Follow progressive disciplinary action to adhere to policy and procedures
  • Ensure adequate support of the sales department and its customers in a timely and orderly manner
  • Facilitate Lean practices in the Plant
  • Purchase or direct the purchase of necessary warehouse supplies to insure the ability to comply with written work instructions and customer requirements
  • Attend regional and corporate meetings when required
  • Perform employee reviews as required
  • Assist in contract negotiations, where applicable
  • This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (in a Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Behavioral Science curriculum)
  • 5 or more years direct Warehouse leadership experience with proven leadership qualities
  • Ability to build an effective team as well as be an effective team member
  • Proficient with Microsoft Project, Office application, Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint a must
  • Working knowledge of Basic Lean Manufacturing Principles
  • Working knowledge of labor relations, safety programs, ISO standards, and Sales’ function
  • Safety Mindset

Preferred Requirements:

  • MBA, Master’s degree or Ph.D. is a plus

Job Compensation

100,000.00-110,000.00
