Vos responsabilités
- Operation and maintaining of the worldwide data center and corresponding services
- Technical support for our business to install applications in on-prem server and cloud environments
- Manage and maintain VMware environments, storage systems, and backup solutions
- Provide expert troubleshooting and resolution for complex data center-related issues
- Manage and collaborate with external service providers to ensure service quality and compliance
- Work closely with BU IT teams, plant ITs, and business stakeholders to align IT infrastructure with business goals
- Full integration in the international team being responsible for the global standardization of data center services
Votre profil
- Several years of hands-on experience in data center operations, server administration, and application management
- You should have solid expertise in Windows server environments, server virtualization (e.g., VMware), data center architectures, backup solutions (e.g., Veeam) and cloud environments (e.g., Azure)
- You are familiar with Microsoft data center services e.g. Microsoft server OS, SQL server
- You have experience with SQL Server, Docker, Kubernetes, scripting (preferably in PowerShell and Python), and familiarity with Linux server systems
- Additionally, you are skilled in server virtualization with VMWare and alternative products
- Analytical mindset and a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Goal and best-practice-oriented way of working
- Enthusiasm, commitment, and very good communication skills
- Willingness for international travel, intercultural competence and experience abroad
- Very good written and spoken skills in English (C1 level)
