Vos responsabilités
The successful candidate will be required to fulfil the job as summarised below, but not limited to:
- Execution of the C&I scope on EPC and EPCM projects.
- Work with minimal supervision in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
- Adhere to the project schedule and allocated budget.
- Liaise with other engineering disciplines and other support departments to ensure alignment between all parties.
- Liaise with clients and vendors to ensure alignment with all parties.
- Develop communication design for control systems and data networks.
- Develop the control system design for the project including control narratives and supporting documents for the control and shutdown systems.
Votre profil
The candidate must be in possession of a BSc / B.Eng. Electrical/ Electronic Engineering degree and be registered as a professional engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
The candidate must be experienced in the following fields:
- At least 6 years specific C&I design experience with min 4 years in the Oil & Gas environment.
- Knowledge of and understanding of SABS / IEC standards
Required Skills
- Good communication skills
- Strong client liaison skills
- Design experience in the following fields:
- Smartplant instrumentation
- Wiring and loop design.
- Selection of instrument technologies.
