Vos responsabilités
POSITION SUMMARY: This is a 1st shift position. Operate numerically controlled milling/drilling machine to perform machining operations such as splitting, turning, drilling.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Through blueprints and setup instructions determine dimension, proper tooling, machining required and feed and speed rates.
- Calls down appropriate program for part or writes program for part.
- Lifts and mounts work piece onto tables.
- Selects and installs tooling.
- Use numerical display on control panel comparing with data on print to verify dimensional adjustments, feeds rates and speeds on machining cuts.
- Notify supervisor if machined work piece does not conform to specifications or if machine malfunctions.
- Complete appropriate production related paperwork.
- Maintain machines to ensure maximum performance.
- Maintain a neat work area abiding by all Company rules and safety procedures.
- Assists in the completion of duties as assigned by supervisor in the event of workloads, vacations, machine malfunctions or absences.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent and job-related experience or training.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Communicate well with others verbal and written
- Computers and Electronics Knowledge of electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications.
EXPORT CONTROL REQUIREMENTS: This position requires access to export-controlled technical data or technology. Employment is contingent upon thyssenkrupp's ability to obtain any required export authorization from the appropriate government agency or agencies.
