Tareas
- Act as the Budapest system engineering focal point for static and dynamic EPS system sizing activities in close collaboration with the system engineering team in Eschen.
- Align, validate, and consolidate mechanical and customer input assumptions required for steering system dimensioning.
- Analyze key mechanical configuration parameters, including transmission ratios, pitch, mechanical efficiency, rack stiffness, and friction characteristics.
- Translate vehicle-level customer requirements into system-level sizing targets, including load envelopes, torquespeed operating curves, and assist force requirements.
- Assess sizing feasibility with respect to functional performance, packaging constraints, safety margins, and robustness.
- Define and issue motor sizing requests in collaboration with the E/E System Specialist, based on EPS system-level requirements.
- Prepare and validate complete motor sizing requirement packages, covering torque, speed, power demands, duty cycles, efficiency, NVH, and electrical boundary conditions.
- Evaluate and validate motor engineering deliverables, including specifications, parameter sets, efficiency maps, and thermal characteristics.
- Initiate, coordinate, and technically assess dynamic EPS system simulations, including steering performance, transient response, and low-voltage worstcase scenarios.
- Coordinate and assess thermal simulations for EPS ECU and powerpack assemblies, evaluating component temperatures, thermal margins, and derating risks.
- Own engineering iteration loops and final system sizing release, ensuring requirement compliance, technical maturity, documentation completeness, and traceability to customer requirements.
