Job Summary
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the company’s Quality System. Process customer and vendor returns. Assist in promoting a total quality environment and ensuringthe continual improvement of branch products and processes.

Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
- Investigate reason for, document, report, review and process customer returns.
- Investigate reason for, document, report, and review vendor returns (Return Purchase Orders)
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System:
- Maintenance and calibration of Measuring and Test Equipment
- Branch Management Quality System Reviews
- Internal Quality System Audits
- Customer lead audits/visits
- Conduct root cause investigations and make recommendations for corrective and preventative actions
- Provide internal and external technical assistance
- Assist in continual improvement projects in the capacity of branch Lean Focal
- Ensure audits are completed and scores are posted on the intranet in a timely manner
- Ensure that meetings take place, no more than 10 minutes
- Identify areas for improvement
- Assist Regional Lean Focal with prep work for workshops (AIWs)
- Maintain all visual boards, pictures, audit history and newsletters
- Maintain Shared Vision Board, Corp and local area

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience or training in ISO9001:2008 or AS9100/9120
- Quality systems, Lean training and computer experience.
Preferred Requirements:
- ASQ certification
- 3 years Quality Assurance/Control experience
- Lean training, Safety/OSHA, metal experience and or training
Responsabilités clés :

- entretenir et étalonner les appareils de mesure et d'essai;
- participer aux révisions du système de gestion de la qualité de la succursale;
- participer aux audits internes du système qualité;
- participer aux audits ou visites dirigées par les clients;
- mener des enquêtes visant à déterminer la cause fondamentale des problèmes, formuler des recommandations et produire des demandes d'actions correctives;
- fournir une assistance technique interne et externe;
- participer à des projets d'amélioration continue à titre de spécialiste de la gestion allégée de la succursale;
- s'assurer que les audits sont effectués et que les résultats sont affichés en temps opportun sur le site intranet;
- veiller à ce que des réunions, d'une durée maximale de 10 minutes, aient lieu;
- repérer les occasions d'amélioration;
- aider le spécialiste régional de la gestion allégée à préparer les ateliers d'amélioration continue;
- garder à jour tous les tableaux d'affichage, les photos, les récits d'audits et les bulletins;
- garder à jour le tableau d'affichage commun au siège social et dans la succursale.

Qualifications :
Exigences minimales :
- diplôme d'études secondaires ou formation générale équivalente;
- expérience ou formation relative à la norme ISO9001:2008 ou AS9100/9120;
- connaissance des systèmes qualité, formation en gestion allégée et expérience en informatique.
Atouts :
- certification ASQ;
- trois ans d'expérience en assurance ou en contrôle de la qualité;
- formation en gestion allégée, en sécurité (OSHA ou CSST) et expérience ou formation relative aux métaux.
