Tareas
- Track and record parts for inspection
- Perform necessary inspection of parts such as checks of pin and main spacing, diameter, throw and index, straightness, taper, true position, lateral locations, bolt hole, and etch
- Ensure accuracy of CMM and Adcole machines; make necessary programming adjustments
- Approve parts that pass inspection; communicate with team leaders regarding bad parts and retest new samples
Perfil
- Education/Credentials/Certifications/Length of Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- A combination of over two years of directly related education, training, and/or experience is desired for this position
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience in crankshaft industry is a plus
- Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Ability to learn tasks and skills required in the gauge lab
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Experience with troubleshooting
- Ability to read blueprints and conversion charts
- Ability to use measurement tools
- Knowledge of GD & T symbols
- Basic mathematical ability: understanding of trigonometry is helpful
- Ability to follow step by step procedures
- Excellent interpersonal abilities
