Job Summary
tk accelis Materials Plus is seeking a Punch Press Operator (Turret) to join our Santa Teresa team on 3rd shift. In this role, you will safely set up, operate, and maintain turret punch press equipment while ensuring quality, productivity, and on-time delivery of customer orders. Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate turret punch press equipment according to work orders and specifications.
- Inspect and verify materials before processing.
- Perform quality checks and record measurements using measuring tools.
- Maintain production, inspection, and productivity records.
- Safely operate forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment.
- Identify and segregate scrap and non-conforming material.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance and housekeeping.
- Assist with packaging and material handling as needed.
- Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train team members when required.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of machine operation experience.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions.
- Basic math skills.
- Experience using handheld measuring tools.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Strong safety mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Turret punch press experience.
- Forklift experience or certification.
- Manufacturing or warehouse experience, preferably in the metals industry.
- Basic computer skills.
This position works on the production floor around heavy machinery and requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Hiring Range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, plus a $0.75/hour 3rd shift premium.
