- Design and implementation of network architectures (LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, Cloud Networks)
- Analysis of existing network infrastructures and identification of optimization potentials
- Selection of suitable network components and technologies
- Creation of security concepts and network policies
- Collaboration with IT security, system administration, and external service providers
- Documentation of network infrastructure and processes
- Support in error analysis and resolution in 3rd-level support
Perfil
- Completed studies in computer science, network technology, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in network planning and administration
- In-depth knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, DNS, DHCP, VLANs
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, Nagios, Wireshark)
- Knowledge of cloud networks (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) is essential
- Analytical thinking, structured working methods, and teamwork skills
- An independent, reliable, team- and service-oriented way of working rounds off your profile
- You enjoy occasional travel domestically and internationally and communicate fluent in German and English
