Job Summary
Transporter des matières premières, des produits finis et de l'équipement dans les installations au moyen d'un chariot élévateur à fourche. Le titulaire du poste peut également avoir à utiliser des ponts roulants, des treuils, des chariots à main et d'autres appareils de levage dans le cadre de ses fonctions, ou encore, exécuter d'autres tâches générales de travail d'entrepôt pour répondre aux exigences opérationnelles.Responsible for movement of raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the
facility using a forklift truck. May also utilize cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other moving
equipment to meet job requirements. May perform other general warehouse functions in
support of operational requirements.
Job Description
Responsabilités clés :
- procéder avec exactitude au transfert et à l'entreposage des produits de l'entreprise, de ceux du client et des diverses fournitures, selon le plan d'inventaire;
- sélectionner soigneusement le matériel nécessaire pour honorer les commandes des clients et emballer les produits adéquatement;
- charger et décharger les camions et vérifier que les bons articles sont sélectionnés pour le chargement ou le déchargement;
- marquer et isoler les matériaux non conformes;
- remplir la documentation conformément aux instructions de travail, s'il y a lieu;
- effectuer des tâches de nettoyage générales;
- inspecter le chariot élévateur au début de chaque quart de travail et déclarer les anomalies à son supérieur immédiat ou au personnel désigné;
- participer à des projets liés à la santé, à la sécurité, aux normes ISO et aux 6S, appuyer de tels projets et respecter les exigences connexes;
- participer à d'autres tâches pour soutenir les activités de l'entreprise à la demande du superviseur ou du chef d'équipe;
- former d'autres employés, au besoin;
- posséder les qualités et compétences exigées des employés de TKA.

Key Accountabilities:
- Accurately remove and stock product, customer’s product, and various supplies according to inventory plan
- Accurately select product to fill customer orders and package them properly
- Load and unload trucks and verify that correct items are loaded and unloaded
- Picking, processing and packing orders, also may be required to cut orders on Kaltenbach saw
- Cycle Counts
- Identify, hold and segregate defective material
- Complete paperwork per work instructions, when required
- Perform general clean up
- Inspect forklift at the beginning of every shift; report issues to immediate supervisor or other designated personnel
- Participate, support and comply with all health, safety, ISO and 6S Initiatives and requirements
- Assist in any other duties to support the operation, as requested by supervisor or team lead
- Train others when required

Qualifications :
Exigences minimales :
- diplôme d'études secondaires/FG;
- capacité de lire et d'écrire en anglais (au Québec, il faut aussi être capable de lire et d'écrire en français);
- capacité de soulever une charge de 18 kg (40 lb) et de la transporter sur une distance de 30 m (100 pieds);
- capacité d'effectuer des opérations mathématiques de base;
- certification d'opérateur de chariot élévateur;
- capacité de rester longtemps en position assise, de se pencher, de s'accroupir, de s'étirer et de faire des mouvements de torsion et de préhension.
Atouts :
- capacité d'utiliser des instruments de mesure manuels;
- connaissances et compétences de base en informatique, comme l'utilisation de bases de données et d'applications Microsoft Office.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED
- History of consistent dependable attendance
- 5 years of warehousing experience – especially in metals industry
- Shipping experience
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
- Ability to read, write and perform basic math skills
- Previous forklift experience
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motions
Preferred Requirements:
- Use of hand held measuring tools
- Basic computer skills and knowledge, such as with database programs and Microsoft Office programs.
- LEAN and/or Quality Control experience
