Summary: - Develop a monitoring strategy, perform monitoring and health-checks on various components of Datacenter related Infrastructure for Cloud and on-premise environments. Use tools to perform monitoring; identify issues; perform elementary diagnostics; explore possibility to resolve the issues; and for complex topics forward the issue to L2 / L3 with history of work done.
- Perform Datacenter related infrastructure monitoring.
- Identify and resolve L1 issues.
- Build experience and develop capabilities to provide early warning about possible snags.
- Support Datacenter/Backup Archiving team handling Server Infrastructure related events
- Candidate should also work closely with other team members who are responsible for Servers and Network administration.
Perfil
- 4 to 6 years in IT Infrastructure monitoring services.
- Proven experience of monitoring IT Infrastructure components using industry standard monitoring tools like Azure ARC, Azure Monitor, AWS Systems Manager, AWS CloudWatch, CheckMK, Tivoli, SCOM, Datadog, SolarWind.
- Relevant experience of up to 5 years in identifying and resolving basic IT infrastructure monitoring issues.
- Candidate should have good understanding of performance metrics and thresholds.
- In-depth knowledge of various technologies and tools being used to monitor Servers, VMs, NAS systems, Datacenter Cloud SaaS Services (e.g. managed SQL instances or SFTP/Azure Datafactory), Backup Storages and Backup Jobs.
- Using industry standard IT infrastructure monitoring tools.
- Proven experience of back-up and restoration technologies on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS like Azure Backup and AWS Backup.) and on-premises environments (VMware, Microsoft, Linux).
- Good English communication verbal and written.
- The role requires working from the office at least two days per week.
