🏗️ Warehouse Metal Packer – Day Shift | $1,000 Sign-On Bonus!
📍 Location: Smithfield, RI
🕕 Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
💵 Pay: $16–$18 per hour
🎁 Sign-On Bonus: $1,000
Are you an experienced warehouse professional with forklift experience looking for your next opportunity? Join our growing team as a Warehouse Metal Packer, where you’ll play a critical role in packing, handling, and moving metal products in a safe and efficient environment.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Pack and handle metal products with care and precision.
- Sort, stack, clean, wash, and inspect cartons, pallets, and parts as assigned.
- Assist with filling, packaging, and completing required documentation.
- Operate forklifts, cranes, and material handling equipment safely.
- Support machine operators with operational tasks.
- Keep work areas clean and equipment well-maintained.
- Train team members when needed.
- Follow all safety, quality, and lean manufacturing protocols.
- Work on or near heavy machinery on the warehouse floor.
✅ Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift experience required
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Basic computer skills and comfort using scanning technology
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
- Previous warehouse or metal packing experience
- Proficiency with hand-held measuring tools
