You will
- Lead global market intelligence activities to identify technological trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive threats, acting as a key interface between Sales teams and digitalization functions.
- Develop and maintain market and technology models to forecast industry developments and assess risks in close collaboration with our eight plants worldwide.
- Drive research & innovation initiatives, scanning global megatrends and evaluating their impact on our business and technology roadmap.
- Analyze new business potentials and contribute to idea generation, cross-functional collaboration, and innovation-based value creation, including identifying new methodologies and digital solutions.
- Organize and facilitate R&I workshops and events, ensuring alignment, ideation, and prioritization of innovation topics, and support status meetings to track opportunities and progress.
- Scout technologies and trends at trade fairs and industry events, translating findings into strategic recommendations.
- Prepare high-quality reports and dashboards to support strategic steering and innovation governance.
Your profile
You bring
- A Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, or Economics.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in an industrial business environment (e.g., trainee programs, first professional roles, or internships).
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, proven in data collection, analysis, and documentation using digital tools.
- A passion for technology and innovation, combined with strategic thinking.
- An independent and detail-oriented working style, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Fluency in English and German and willingness to work in a highly international environment.
