Your responsibilities
The scope of this role will require the incumbent to work in a projects-based environment covering all phases of project execution (feasibility, concept, basic, detail, construction support and commissioning).
Exposure to engineering management, as well as good interpersonal skills is absolutely necessary. The incumbent would be responsible for leading a team of engineers on a project by project basis and will be accountable for the delivery of engineering deliverables on-time and within quality requirements.
Your profile
The candidate must be in possession of an engineering Degree (BSc. / B.Eng.) in one of the following disciplines: Chemical/ Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation/ Electronic Engineering or Civil engineering.
The candidate must have Pr Eng. status as well as have 18 years of Project EM experience in a contracting environment focussed on projects in the Petroleum, Refinery, Oil & Gas or Chemical sectors. Must have at least 5 years of Project EM experience.
- An additional qualification in Project Management or Project Engineering Management will be an advantage.
- Experience in Change Management.
- Demonstrated experience with interaction with clients.
- Advanced knowledge of engineering and engineering design principles.
- Understanding of Contract Management principles.
