Your responsibilities
thyssenkrupp Uhde combines unique technological expertise and decades of global experience in the engineering, procurement, construction and service of chemical plants. We develop innovative processes and products for a more sustainable future and thus contribute to the long-term success of our customers in almost all areas of the chemical industry. Our portfolio includes leading technologies in the field of sustainable chemicals and fuels. Starting with renewable power (Power-to-X) and/or 2ndgeneration biomass (Biomass-to-X), the entire process chains up to hydrogen, ammonia, methanol, SNG (Synthetic Natural Gas) and SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) can be offered.
With decades of experience and more than 100 gasifiers built, the current uhde®entrained-flow gasification process (also known as PRENFLO gasification) is the result of continuous development and optimization. The suitability of the PRENFLO technology for biomass gasification was impressively demonstrated with the BioTfueL®demonstration plant in Dunkirk, France. With this excellent market position for biomass gasification, Uhde is now contributing to a more sustainable production of chemicals and fuels.
