Your responsibilities
Summary of Position:
SAP Senior Basis Systems Administrator is part of the SAP Center of Excellence (CoE), responsible for building, growing and managing tkMNA’s SAP Landscape; ensuring its scalability, performance, and alignment with changing requirements, supports the tkMNA landscape through proactive monitoring, OSS note application, client copies, resource allocation and performance tuning, troubleshooting of any issues that may arise, support stack upgrades, and system upgrades.
Responsible for defining and governing the SAP CoE change management processes, facilitates the transport management process to the SAP system due to enhancements, delta projects/upgrades, and regular Production support.
Key Accountabilities:
· Performs SAP monitoring features, performance tuning capabilities, log files, and reports to detect, prevent, and correct bottlenecks and common sources of degradation (Basis and Java)
· Executes CCMS and SAP Console for managing transports and service packs across the different environments and systems that comprise tkMNA’s SAP Landscape
· Designs with new hardware and platform considerations that focus on high availability
· Optimizes the flow of information and modifications across technical landscapes
· Creates and deploys strategies for consolidating systems and minimizing downtime
· Manages batch jobs, spool requests, spool jobs, and overall job scheduling
· Executes on OSS notes through SAP Solution Manager/ ChaRM
· Synchronizes, cleanses, and manages growing volumes of transactional and master data
· Analyzes database tables to achieve higher performance
· Defines and employs archiving strategies and requirements
· Interacts with SAP Solution Manager, eCatt, Netweaver Developer Studio, Legacy Migration Workbench, and Audit Information System
· Maintains expertise in the area of SAP architecture, including industry trends, strategies, and products to ensure corporate assets are optimized
· Evolves and ensures the adherence of all TKMNA application development efforts comply to TKMNA’s Application Development programming standards
· Performs various levels of testing plans (unit, system and UAT) and performance test plans
· Maintains and ensures the quality of all technical documentation
· Develops, implements and communicates strategy required to develop, deploy, update and support the SAP applications
· Assists in root cause analysis and provides on-call and off-hour support
· Participates in the introduction and integration of multiple new technologies on all system platforms

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years overseeing and administrating a comprehensive enterprise application landscape
- 10+ years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator installing, configuring and maintaining SAP applications
- Professional experience with both ECC 6.0, Netweaver and J2EE application development and deployment
- Experience with SAP S4/HANA is a plus
- Experience with Sap Solution Manager/ ChaRM
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills both verbal, written and presentation
- Strong personal skills, ability to work independently and within teams across the organization
- Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines
- Good project management skills, strong multi-tasking capabilities, teamwork and consensus building skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer science/information management discipline from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
