Your responsibilities

Aim of the position

Provide specialist technical support for revamp and upgrade projects, acting as a technical interface between internal functions, suppliers and endusers, without direct project management responsibility.

Strengthening internal technical capabilities in the piping and layout area to support revamp, upgrade and modification activities on existing plants (chloralkali), in response to:

  • increasing technical complexity of installedbase projects;
  • need for structured handling of legacy and nonstandard configurations;
  • growing support demand from Customer Service, Engineering and Procurement on revamp activities.

Main responsibilities and Contents

  • Support definition of technical scope for revamp and upgrade projects;
  • Participate in technical surveys and feasibility assessments;
  • Analyze existing plants and legacy technical documentation;
  • Support Customer Service on spare parts, loose materials and technical interfaces;
  • Coordinate technically with Engineering, Procurement and suppliers;
  • Support technical meetings and discussions with customers;
  • Develop conceptual studies with focus on plant layout design, 3D modelling of piping, supports, structures etc..;
  • Cooperate in conceptual studies aimed to de-bottle-neck existing plants and to develop plans suitable to minimize impacts of jobs execution and maintenance;
  • Cooperate to estimate the investment for revamps opportunities as well as to prepare cost estimation for technical-commercial proposals with particular focus on piping and process equipment.

Your profile

  • Engineering degree (Mechanical, Chemical, Process or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of Autocad and 3D piping modelling software (specifically E3D by Aveva)
  • 5 years of experience in service / revamp / retrofit / process plants
  • Experience with existing installations and nonstandard technical situations
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, MTOs and technical documentation
  • Fluent in English and Italian (Spanish is a plus)

From receiving your documents to acceptance: the application process

Step 1
