Your responsibilities
- Managing of Factory level Full potential project portfolio in the Business Unit Springs and Stabilizers
- Responsible to lead and providing guidance to the Project team towards success
- Close cooperation in activities with related Project Managers on a regular basis even in the shopfloor by helping to get the right support in the right time
- Continuous monitoring and reporting of portfolio progress, highlighting risks and presenting risk mitigations in alignment with project responsibles
- Defining of project target and scope changes in cooperation with the project sponsor
- Setting-up of a project structure, arranging the communication channels and responsibilities as well as managing resources in coordination with the project responsibles
- Monitoring and reporting of Full Potential Project implementation
- Documentation and reporting of project portfolio progress, escalation of critical issues and preparation of decision memos
- Assuring an adequate project documentation
- Representing the project within the company
- Collaboration within business unit Project Management Organization and contribution to further development of business unit
Your profile
- We are looking for our new team member with a 2 year fixed-term contract
- University Degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or Industrial Engineering
- 3-5 years work experience in automotive or automotive supplier industry,work experience abroad desirable
- Use of instruments and methods of project management, portfolio management
- Experience in materials and process engineering in steel processing is an advantage,
- Experience as team leader
- SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Confident handling of MS-Office (esp. Excel)
- Fluent English (German is a plus)
- Analytical, forward-looking and global thinking
- Business minded and process-focused approach
