Your responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will lead the planning, execution, and closure of offshore projects in the field of geophysical surveys (e.g., UXO and Seismic) and AUV technology. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, and uphold the highest standards in quality, health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead projects from the proposal phase through completion
  • Ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery
  • Develop project schedules, plans, and resource requirements
  • Manage documentation and change control processes
  • Regularly report progress to internal and external stakeholders
  • Act as a key interface between departments (Engineering, Operations, QHSE, etc.) and external partners
  • Ensure fulfillment of all contractual obligations
  • Monitor and manage costs and budgets across project lifecycles
  • Identify and mitigate project risks proactively
  • Implement and oversee QHSE standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) in collaboration with the QHSE team
  • Conduct or support safety briefings and offshore risk assessments
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, authorities, and subcontractors
  • Organize and lead project meetings and reporting routines
  • Support contract and claim management efforts with the legal and tender team

Your profile

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven project management experience, preferably in offshore/maritime environments
  • Demonstrated success in managing projects with complex stakeholder environments
  • Familiarity with geophysical survey technologies (e.g., UXO, seismic) and AUV systems is an advantage
  • Understanding of international regulations and standards (ISO, IMO, HSE)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills
  • Degree in Engineering, Geophysics, Maritime Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Formal qualifications or certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, IPMA) are highly desirable
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written
  • Confident in using MS Office and Microsoft Teams

ATLAS MARIDAN ApS is a Danish company with branches in Germany.

The Danish site develops, integrates, tests, repairs and maintains unmanned vehicles (UxVs), primarily autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs).

Offshore exploration tasks (surveying operations) and the central management of research and development are carried out by the German branches.

We are active nationally and internationally in the areas of:

  • Dredging
  • Surface mining on stones & earths
  • Offshore exploration and unexploded ordnance exploration
  • Advice and exploration of explosive ordnance in sediment
  • Ultra-High resolution Seismic
  • Development, manufacture, repair, maintenance, integration and testing of autonomous, uncrewed mari-time vehicles (UxV).

An experienced team is available to handle various projects. The technical staff includes engineers specialising in process engineering, hydrographic engineering and geodesy as well as natural scientists from the fields of geology, geotechnics and geophysics.
