Your responsibilities

  • Petrographische Analysen: Durchführen von Kohle- und Koksanalysen, insbesondere Vitrinitreflexion und Maceralzusammensetzung von Kohlen, Koksreflexion bzw. Kokstextur- und Strukturmessungen sowie die Analysen zur Bewertung von alternativen Kohlenstoffträgern im Veredelungsprozeß von Kohle
  • Nachhaltigkeitsbewertung: Bewertung der Umweltauswirkungen und Nachhaltigkeitsaspekte im Zusammenhang mit dem Einsatz von Kohle und Koks in der Stahlherstellung
  • Qualitätskontrolle: Sicherstellen der Qualitätsanforderungen der eingehenden Rohstoffe sowie Reklamationsmanagement bei Abweichungen von Vertragswerten.
  • Ressourceneffizienz: Entwicklung von Strategien zur Optimierung der Ressourcennutzung und Minimierung des CO2-Footprints im Zusammenhang mit der Kohle- und Koksverwendung
  • Zusammenarbeit: Enge Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Abteilungen, einschließlich Rohstoffeinkauf, Logistik und Produktionsbetriebe, um nachhaltige Produkte sicherzustellen

Your profile

  • Wir suchen eine Person mit abgeschlossenen Studium in Geologie, Mineralogie oder einem verwandten Fachbereich. Sie sollten nachweisliche Erfahrung in der petrographischen Analyse besitzen, insbesondere in Bezug auf Kohle und Koks. Ein starkes Interesse an Nachhaltigkeit und Umweltschutz ist für diese Position ebenso erforderlich.
  • Darüber hinaus erwarten wir ein fundiertes Verständnis geologischer Prozesse sowie spezifische Kenntnisse über Kohlelagerstätten. Analytische Fähigkeiten und die Kompetenz, komplexe Daten zu interpretieren, sind essenziell für diese Tätigkeit.
  • Zudem legen wir Wert auf gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten und eine ausgeprägte Teamfähigkeit. Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift sind erforderlich. Wünschenswert sind außerdem grundlegende Kenntnisse in der Bildverarbeitung.

From receiving your documents to acceptance: the application process

Step 1

Have you found an interesting vacancy? Then apply online. You won’t need more than 10 minutes. The entire application process – from initial contact to response – usually takes between four and six weeks.

Receipt of your application

You will receive confirmation that we have received your application – within a few minutes if you apply online; it may take a couple of days if you apply by email. Our recruiters check your application documents and get in touch with you. For some positions we will conduct a preliminary telephone interview with you.

Review by functional department

Our recruiter submits a preliminary selection of candidates to the specialist department for consideration. The department will then look closely to check whether your qualifications meet the requirements of the job.

Interview

If you are a suitable candidate for the job, we’d like to get to know you personally in an interview with the specialist department and HR. If you or we need more time, we'll invite you to a second interview.

The offer
