Your responsibilities

  • Define and implement the operational plan by analyzing product demand, production capacity, and auxiliary resources to optimize production efficiency while meeting customer quality requirements. Ensure all production routines are maintained.
  • Support the Production Control and Planning (PCP) team by coordinating labor resources, machine interventions, shift schedules, and additional shifts as needed.
  • Manage the production team, serving as the direct leader of production supervisors, foreman and the third-level leader for operators. In collaboration with the supervisor, oversee salary management, hiring, terminations, promotions, and the development and capacity planning of the production team.
  • Oversee production and Operational Excellence (OPX) planning.
  • Lead the Continuous Improvement department (OPX), acting as the direct supervisor for OPX engineers. Responsible for implementing, sustaining, and advancing lean tools throughout the plant.
  • Manage internal and external OPX Scan assessments, aiming to improve scores and identify action plans for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), environmental, and hygiene regulations within the production department.

Your profile

5+ years of Production chief position in automotive industry or similar. English language proficiency is a must. Understanding of automotive standards and audits. People management. Advanced statistics. Experience with Lean manufacturing techniques.
