Your responsibilities
- Creation and maintenance of software packages for the central software distribution in coordination with the responsible owner of the software.
- Support of user acceptance tests in collaboration with the software owner.
- Provisioning of software packages via the central software solution or software kiosk.
- Creation and management of client-relevant group policies (GPOs).
- Operating system update and patch management for clients.
- Third Level support for the service area Desktop Services.
- Troubleshooting within the global client environment.
- Full integration in the international team being responsible for the global IT infrastructure.
- Coordination and cooperation with various business departments.
- Documentation of the existing environment and future changes.
Your profile
- Experience in working with Microsoft Active Directory.
- Experience in managing and working with Microsoft client operation systems such as Windows 10 and Windows 11.
- Several years of experience in the area of client engineering especially software packaging and patch management.
- Experience in software distribution solutions e.g. Matrix42 Empirum, Ivanti, MS SCCM or similar.
- Goal-oriented way of working and high IT affinity.
- Enthusiasm, commitment, and very good communication skills.
- Intercultural competence and experience abroad.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
- Very good written and spoken skills in English (C1 level).
- Personal commitment to continuous training in relevant client engineering. technologies.
