Your responsibilities
MISSION OF THE POSITION: reports to the Materials Planning Manager and is responsible for following import goods, update containers ETAs, match the expenses with the operations and arrange and schedule domestic and foreign freights.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate documentation is created to appropriate government agencies for all import/export activities.
- Arrange for transportation, warehousing or distribution of products from domestic and external suppliers based on transit times and optimum profit opportunity.
- Arrange for export cargo pick up and transfer with consignees and Freight Forwarders.
- Maintain knowledge of US and foreign regulations regarding international shipments and ensure government, customer and company requirements are met by custom broker (customs management)
- Match the invoicing received with the operation
Your profile
Requirements:
Graduated from Business, International Trade, or a related field. knowledge of customs regulations, GRI classification, and international customs requirements specially in NAFTA.
Experience: from 1 to 3 years of experience in international logistics (Import) and domestic transportation in any industry.
Proficiency in English (test will be applied).
