Your responsibilities

  • Partner with Head of Engineering to manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and headcount planning.
  • Control engineering cost centers across all locations, ensuring alignment to financial targets.
  • Track internal hours charged to projects and ensure transparency in cost allocation and recovery.
  • Ensure engineering costs are reflected accurately in project budgets and PoC
    calculations.
  • Prepare and analyze KPIs: engineering productivity, hours per deliverable, utilization rates.
  • Support financial aspects of R&D activities and cost-benefit analysis of innovation
    initiatives.
  • Manage monthly variance analysis and recommend actions for deviations.
  • Ensure internal controls are followed regarding engineering bookings and time
    recording.
  • Support ERP/BI implementation efforts to improve tracking of engineering time and cost.

Your profile

  • You hold a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance or a degree in Engineering with financial experience, or possess a comparable qualification.
  • You bring several years of experience in controlling or financial planning, ideally in project-based or industrial environments.
  • You have strong proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Excel, as well as experience with tools such as Power BI.
  • You show team spirit, a sense of responsibility, and excellent communication skills when collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, combined with strong analytical capabilities.
  • You are fluent in English.

From receiving your documents to acceptance: the application process
