Your responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the accounting team (AP, AR, GL, etc.).
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparation of supporting documentation.
  • Review and approve financial transactions in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor workload distribution and support team members in meeting deadlines and performance expectations.
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Support external and internal audit processes by preparing and reviewing required documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, HR, Operations, etc.) to resolve accounting issues.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive efficiency initiatives within the group.
  • Assist the Finance Manager with reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analyses.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to accounting staff.
  • Coordinate accounting and finance-related projects that impact the BU

Your profile

  • College or university degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting
  • Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in the financial field
  • Minimum 5 years accounting experience
  • Proficiency in SAP FI
  • Business-level English skills
  • Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and developing teams
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
