Job Summary
The eCommerce Data Analyst will work directly with the eCommerce Product Owner and Ideation Team to analyze data related to online sales, customer behavior, and market trends to provide insights and recommendations that drive the growth and success of the eCommerce business. The Data Analyst will also be responsible for the customer and product business data models, ensuring they are accurately integrated into the eCommerce platform and processes. Key Accountabilities:
Data Analysis & Reporting
Collect, analyze and report on various data points from multiple sources (Power BI, GA4, Mouseflow, etc.) to assess business performance and identify actionable insights and opportunities
Key business team member in the PowerBI dashboard workstream; analyzing data, identifying actionable insights and following through to resolution. Work with the cross-functional team to identify new reporting opportunities and build the PowerBI roadmap while also maintaining the existing reports.
Report on KPIs to track usage and ROI of features and enhancements post release
Develop and present regular performance reports and dashboards to stakeholders, working with the ideation team to identify actionable insights to improve the customer experience
Customer Insight Data
Design processes to collect and catalog customer feedback from multiple sources
Analyze customer feedback to identify trends, preferences, and buying behaviors to improve the online experience.
Present key actionable insights from customer feedback to ideation and business teams. Provide data support for these opportunities from requirements through enhancement deployment
Expert and owner of Product & Customer Master Data for eCommerce
Serve as a liaison with business stakeholders and the eCommerce team to document and understand in detail the customer needs and business processes for master data topics to ensure alignment of approach.
Own back-office processes for master data, ensuring that data is maintained and updated to promote a seamless user experience.
Establish catalog review process with business to ensure online product offering is aligned with business objectives.
Driver for business process change management in order to support the user experience on the eCommerce website
Responsible for maintaining the platform (HUB) and database of users for customer testing.
Maintain database of users with key attributes to profile users for sessions
Design & execute recruiting strategies to continuously grow the customer testing database
Work with Ideation team to coordinate all user interviews and user testing sessions from profiling the target customers to coordinating the sessions
Schedule/attend interviews & tests and document key takeaways from each session
Support bug triaging in coordination with Product Owner and other required roles.
Support backlog management, story refinement, and UAT alongside the eCommerce Product Owner for applicable topics
Support and promote use and standards for Jira and Confluence
Coordinate with external teams as needed
Perform data analysis and ad hoc requests
Perform any other duties as required
Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years as an Analyst (eCommerce experience preferred).
Skills: Strong communication, documentation, and ad hoc problem-solving skills.
Software Proficiency: MS Office required; Jira and Confluence experience preferred.
