Position Overview:
thyssenkrupp Uhde USA, LLC is currently seeking a Technical Services Coordinator in Houston, Texas to support the Uhde High Pressure Technologies department.
The Technical Services Coordinator is responsible for execution of work, in addition to coordinating service activities related to all Uhde high-pressure equipment within the Americas region.
This includes implementation of work, coordinating repairs, workshops, and field service activities to ensure safe and efficient execution. The role also supports the development and implementation of safety and quality procedures in alignment with company standards, while closely collaborating with the Houston Service Hub, the engineering team in Germany, customers, and vendors across the region.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and directs field service technicians with scheduling of site service activities
- Plan and monitor repair and machining projects in collaboration with the workshop team
- Track ongoing projects, job progress, and technician availability
- Ensure all client-specific requirements (safety training, PPE, documentation, etc.) are met before site mobilization
- Maintain and update safety and training certification records for service personnel
- Develop the scope of work for repair jobs, including inspection, reporting, and communication with clients and the Hagen headquarters.
- Support service sales activities, including customer visits, quotation preparation, and proposal development
- Participate in on-site service activities when required, providing technical support and ensuring execution quality
- Conduct training sessions for staff and clients on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety
Coordinates with:
- UHPT Divisional Management Team
- Buyers, and Suppliers
- Oversee the coordination: Vendors, Packing and Forwarding Service Providers, Customs, Brokers, and their sub-contractors

Profil
Required Knowledge/ Skills, Education and Experience:
- 5 years (+) experience with Uhde high pressure technologies equipment or industry experience
- Experience with LDPE, EVA and/or Urea unites
- Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Teams
- Strong organization and coordination skills with attention to detail
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and team-oriented
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%
- Valid passport is required
- Strong communication skills and customer-oriented mindset
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Understanding high-pressure equipment maintenance, repair, and testing procedures
- Experience coordinating international service projects and/or remote teams
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
