Aufgaben
- Operation and support of our in-house MES (manufacturing execution system) that is running in 9 separate instances and coordinating the manufacturing process between the company-wide SAP systems and the process control systems of the local manufacturing facilities.
- Implementation of automated solutions for release management.
- Implementation of automated solutions for platform management.
- Implementation and maintenance of monitoring solutions.
- Installation of new software versions on the running instances.
- Installation of new software versions on staging other testing instances.
- Participation in daily standup or regularly meetings.
- Technologies being used:
- Jenkins (-files), Maven, Git (Bitbucket), Linux (RHEL), Oracle DB, Jira, Ansible, REST, checkMK.
- JavaEE application server (currently Weblogic, migration to OpenLiberty planned).
Profil
- 5 years'+ of relevant work experience.
- Good knowledge of server and network technologies.
- Strong knowledge of:
- CheckMK, Ansible, Python, PowerShell, Linux Bash, Jenkins.
- Following knowledge would be an advantage:
- Maven, Tycho, JIRA, REST, SQL.
- Pragmatic, solution-oriented working style.
- Analytical and abstract thinking.
- Fluent written and spoken English, German language will be an asset.
