Are you passionate about SAP Basis, fully at home in the cloud, and looking for a global playground to showcase your expertise? As our new Senior SAP Basis & Cloud Architect, you will be the mastermind and guardian of our global S/4HANA landscape on Azure.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Holistic Administration: You keep the digital heart of our company beating. You ensure the high-availability operation of our S/4HANA systems on Azure (IaaS architecture) and manage our HANA databases under Linux. Numerous peripheral systems (Web Dispatcher, Cloud Connector, Content Server) round out your daily playground.
- Lead Technical Innovation: You take ownership of complex, cutting-edge IT projects. From strategic planning to execution, you drive upgrades, release changes, cloud migrations, and the introduction of brand-new cloud products.
- Bridge the Gap (Consulting & Interfaces): You are the ultimate go-to expert and trusted advisor for our module owners when it comes to ABAP architecture, Fiori infrastructure, integration solutions, and performance optimization.
- Shape Cloud & BTP Strategy: You actively administer and evolve our SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), putting your core focus on the SAP Integration Suite and SAP Build Work Zone.
- Empower a Global Team: Sharing knowledge is in your DNA. You actively mentor junior colleagues and foster a culture of smooth, seamless collaboration within our globally networked team.
Profil
- Deep SAP Track Record: You bring several years (at least 57 years) of hands-on experience in SAP Basis Administration within complex, international environments. If you already have experience with RISE with SAP, that’s a huge plus!
- Database & OS Mastery: You possess rock-solid knowledge in administering SAP HANA and feel completely comfortable working with Linux operating systems.
- Architecture Frontend Expert: You have expert-level knowledge of SAP ABAP and a proven track record of deploying slick Fiori environments.
- Cloud Native Mindset: You have practical experience navigating the SAP BTP ecosystem, especially the Integration Suite and Build Work Zone.
- Hyperscaler Experience: You know how to operate and migrate SAP systems on hyperscalers, with a strong preference for Microsoft Azure.
- Methodological Drive: You have a proven track record of successfully leading technical (sub-)projects and approach complex challenges with a highly structured, analytical mindset.
