Aufgaben
- Active processing and cross-departmental coordination of the dunning process including reporting/commenting on overdue receivables
- Proactive receivables management and monitoring to avoid overdue receivables
- Preparation of expected cash-ins for regular BCF reporting
- Collaboration in SAP SD projects (conception of dunning, paid price tracking, overdue reporting, improvement measures, etc.)
- Review and optimize the company's credit and collection policies
- Processing the internal control system (ICS) for the area of dunning and related AR processes, including contact person for the auditors
- Support in the area of master data management (company code data, sales views, creating debtor BP, etc.)
- Ongoing contact with the customers' accounting departments (external) and the Presta internal departments involved (Sales, Logistics, Quality, CBUs, etc.)
- Close cooperation with the financial accounting departments of the plants and sales back-office teams
- Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws regarding collections and credit practices
- Minimizing bad debt risk by processing tasks promptly, efficiently and as automatically as possible
Profil
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Credit Control, Collections, and Accounts Receivable processes
- Strong finance background with deep SAP FI and SAP SD knowledge
- Strong understanding of VAT regulations and commercial compliance
- Entrepreneurial mindset with proactive problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in German (required) and English (business communication level)
- High level of discretion, reliability, resilience, and accuracy, with the ability to work independently
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills
