Aufgaben
- Support strategic semiconductor-related evaluations and decisions with the x-functions
- Provide semiconductor design and manufacturing-related expertise within the company for forward sourcing decisions and semiconductor technology strategy
- Work together with internal x-functions to determine risk profile for semiconductor value chain
- Ensure compliance along with EE governance for new ECU platforms or projects
- Drives development, and component selection process adaptation to implement risk assessment and mitigation from early stages in R&A and R&D processes
- Monitors semiconductor technology trends. Predicts long-term technologies and demands. Provides regular reports.
- Development and continuous maintenance of risk tool
- Owns and further develops risk assessment methodology
- Develop countermeasures jointly with Product lines, central R&D, Quality and Purchasing
- Drives countermeasure implementation in R&A and R&D projects
- Drives development, and component selection process adaptation to implement risk assessment and mitigation from early stages in R&A and R&D processes
Profil
- MSc in electrical engineering, electronics, physics, microsystems technology or similar background
- 5+ years of experience in semiconductor design or manufacturing (front-end)
- In-depth knowledge of at least one of the following: automotive electronics product life cycle, semiconductor value chain, covering IDMs, foundries, fabless companies, OSAT and EMS
- Broad technical interest
- Professional experience in technical project management in the semiconductor industry
- Seniority level for x-functional alignment
- Strong command in English for technical negotiations and explanation
- High resilience, confident appearance, assertiveness
- Flexibility, high degree of teamwork
- Conceptual, strategic thinking
