Summary of Position: Inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment. Perform various facilities maintenance activities. Key Accountabilities:· Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and similar problems onmachinery/equipment and perform timely repairs.· Establish appropriate frequency and perform regular preventive maintenance activities onall machinery/equipment in the facility· Perform timely facility/building maintenance and minor repairs, and maintain a clean andsafe work area· Dismantle defective machines/equipment and install new or repaired equipment· Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairs· Coordinate and make recommendations on work-related contracts and services· Supervise outside contractors when needed for mechanical and electrical repairs andmaintenance· Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives andrequirements· Meets TKMNA Employee Attributes/CompetenciesThe above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for theperformance of this job. Profil
Minimum Requirements:· Demonstrate mechanical and technical aptitude· 3-5 years experience in an industrial, maintenance environment· College degree or certificate in a technical area or related field· Good interpersonal and communication skills· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
