Aufgaben
- Define and revise the global commodity strategy, lead global sourcing activities and commercial negotiations in order to achieve global targets.
- Monitor the market potentials, cost developments and keep the global organization updated about the trends regularly.
- Analyze and approve local sourcing strategies and be responsible for global sourcing strategies, support Sourcing Board presentations.
- Define the global supplier strategy, optimize and maintain the bidders list of commodity.
- Finalize frame contracts with suppliers, coordinate changes. Establish and maintain risk management.
- Functional leader of the global team of Commodity Buyers, consultant of Project Buyers, reports to Global Head of Procurement.
- Escalation management according to Logistics and Quality escalation processes.
- Coordination and release of new suppliers together with SQE.
Profil
- Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or Economics
- At least 5 years professional experience in commodity management (global commodity management is preferred)
- Technical background would be preferred (steel related commodity is advantage)
- Working experience in multinational environment (automotive is advantage)
- Confident handling of MS Office and SAP
- Excellent knowledge of English language
- Success-oriented, independent thinking
- Great interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Leadership skills
- Intercultural personality
- Excellent communication, flexibility, pro-activeness
- Good organizational and planning skills
- Team player
