Aufgaben
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Team Leader who enjoys driving efficiency, leading teams through transitions, and partnering with stakeholders across the business. You will lead the setup and daily operation of the Accounts Payable team, manage stakeholders during both ramp-up and business-as-usual phases, and ensure processes are well-documented, compliant, and continuously improved. Challenging the status quo and driving efficiency initiatives to improve both processes and the team’s daily work is a key part of this role.
- Run a smooth, efficient Accounts Payable operation
- Take ownership of day-to-day operational matters
- Research, analyze and resolve complex accounts payable and vendor related issues internal / external enquiries that cannot be resolved by the payables clerks
- Support the team in their daily challenges, handling escalations
- Ensure smooth transitions and proper documentation of all the sub-processes
- Monitor new vendor accounts and collaborate with Procurement to ensure correct supplier and freelancer terms
- Full people management responsibility for direct reports
- Set individual targets and conduct performance evaluations
- Act as a role model for strong service orientation and service culture
- Manage stakeholders across all serviced business units
- Track and manage key performance indicators (POT, BOT, RBIR)
Profil
- Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics
- Strong accounting knowledge with min. 5 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Shared Services experience is essential
- At least 2 years of leadership experience
- Fluent German and English skills
- Proven expertise in finance transitions and ramp-up management
- Proficiency in SAP
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Lead / CPI mindset is required
- Experience with Seeburger is an advantage
