To accurately provide price and delivery for Copper and Brass' Coil Products (and others as needed) to our customers in a timely and courteous fashion, utilizing organization and negotiating techniques, and applying resourcefulness and strong attention to detail while converting inquiries into orders. Answer customer questions concerning products/services and their orders. Develop target and non-major accounts into loyal customers.Job Description
We are looking for a hungry sales rep that wants to help grow accounts!!!
Someone with impeccable customer service skills. This individual would be someone who can work in a very fast paced environment and do well under pressure. This position is a very important one in the company...this individual will interact with our customers more so than any other role in the company.
*Key Accountabilities:
• Respond to sales calls, faxes, and e-mails
• Generate and follow up on quotes for all products
• Provide technical assistance to customers
• Process, update and monitor sales orders
• Assist with set up of new accounts
• Enter return orders, credits, and debits when required
• Enter scrap return order as requested by distribution channels
• Review product inventory and report concerns to purchasing/ management
• Utilize various computer software programs and online platforms (SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce and others as needed) to complete tasks
• Satisfy customer service issues
• Continuously increase knowledge of company products, services, and procedures
• Work in team environment, communicating as required with all personnel.
• Traveling as needed to meet company goals (Overnights possible for the initial training period to Smithfield, RI and other customer locations)
• Monitor competitor products and prices.
• Assist in quality related duties where required

Preferred Requirements:
- Coil and Red Metals experience
- At least 1 to 2 years metals sales experience
- Interpersonal skills necessary in order to sell, negotiate and close business with customers
- Attention to detail in order to evaluate customer’s accounts and orders
- Computer proficiency in order to assemble and process orders and information in a timely and efficient manner.
- Effective communication and listening skills necessary when answering phone calls from customers and associating with peers.
Job Compensation
$50,500 - $75,000/year based on experience and Eligible for Sales Incentive Monthly Bonus
