Aim of the position
The Business Development & Sales Manager is in charge of getting data and information about the specific industry and reviewing competitor data to come up with potential business ideas. He/She monitors specific markets supported by the regional hubs to continuously align company strategy and projects funnel. He/She participates in meetings with the marketing and sales teams to review sales goals and present ideas for new business ventures. Joining regular meetings with headquarter for global coordination on Sales and BD activities and meeting with company executives to discuss successful leads and get approval for new projects are also BD & Sales Manager’s responsibility.
Main responsibilities and Contents
Specifically, the resource will have to deal with the following activities:
- Identify and develop possible opportunities on the market for hydrogen and chlor-alkali business;
- Develop and maintain client relationships;
- Coordinate with Proposal and Technical department to develop proposals that fit with client’s requests and expectations;
- Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders;
- Gather useful information from customer and competitor data;
- Make and give presentations to prospects and internal executives.

Skills, qualifications and abilities
The ideal candidate satisfies the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, industrial technology or a related discipline;
- Experience in Sales and Customer relation management (industrial plants);
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Familiarity with project management and execution processes;
- Familiarity with the chemical plant and/or energy industry;
- Problem-solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutions;
- Ability and willingness to deal with different cultures and to travel for meetings with prospect and existing clients.
